We are presently seeking a Polished, True Professional Sales Representative to join our expanding presence within WESTERN CANADA and related territories.

 

Sales Representative ResponsibilitiesCalling on and building long-term business relationships with reputable distributors in Western Canada (Vancouver, Richmond, Burnaby, Surrey, Calgary, Edmonton, Victoria, Kelowna, Abbotsford, etc). In this role it is your ambition and responsibility to further develop, integrate and expand STOBAGs dealer network and its market position across the territory. The ideal candidate will have a proven record in setting up new markets and Dealers. This position includes the management of all aspects of Sales for the territories by signing New Dealers, building relationship, and to ensure that all pricing strategies are met.

Roles/Duties

•    to sell the Company’s products in the Western Canada (the “Territory”) and develop sales activity by signing new dealers and contractors in Western Canada. In this capacity the Sales Representative shall forward all leads and secured orders to the Company.•    to faithfully and accurately represent the Company, its policies, and products to potential and current customers, and to use his/her best efforts to carry out his/her duties under this Agreement and promote the interests of the Company;•    to report to the Company on all sales activity and related issues;•    to immediately inform the Company of all problems relating to the business and the Company’s customers within the Territory; and•    the Sales Representative cannot plan or intend to represent any other business firm during the duration of his employment with the Company.•    Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.•    Ensure steps for achieving Budgets are put in place and goals achieved.•    Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.•    Submits orders when received by referring to price lists and product literature.•    Keeps management informed updating CRM, submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analysis.•    Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, and informs Management of changing landscape and competition.•    Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.•    Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.•    Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional related associations when possible.•    Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.•    Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Sales Representative Skills and Qualifications:The ideal candidate will be able to provide through references, a proven record of generating new business and maintaining long term relationships in their past or present employment. The candidate must speak and write English fluently. Seeking the following attributes in a professional candidate – Strong People Skills, Customer Service oriented, Meeting Sales Goals, Closing Skills, Territory Management, Prospecting Skills, Negotiation, Self-Confidence, Product Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Client Relationships, Motivation for Sales, Excellent Computer Skills, AutoCAD knowledge/Training from school or work experience would be a bonus but not necessary. Valid Drivers License a must. Able to accommodate extensive Travel requirements.

Education and Work Experience:The ideal candidate will either be presently in sales or has been, with a minimum of 3 years within the Sun Solution Industry. The sales role must have been one that called directly on the business owner to establish and obtain the sales. We are seeking a hunter, who is comfortable being on the road with little time in the office spent to manage their administrative supportive tasks related to preparing quotes and presentations. The following are examples of individuals that come from the creative side of the businesses that we feel are a good fit:

Target Customers: Awning Companies, Architects, Designers, Contractors, Home Builders, Design Landscape, Home Exterior Design, New Pool Construction, Landscape Deck Companies, Garden Centres, Awning Companies, etc.

Compensation and Benefits:

The compensation package is as follows:

•    Base Salary: Competitive range of $60,000 - $70,000 CAD, negotiable based on overall experience.•    Sales Commission: Earn a 2% commission on Sales Growth for Immediate Territory of Western Canada. Annual targets to be established and reviewed.•    Quarterly Commission Payouts: Commissions are evaluated quarterly and promptly paid upon earnings.•    Vehicle Allowance: Generous monthly vehicle allowance paid with each payroll•    Vehicle Reimbursement: Vehicle expense reimbursements (includes gas / oil changes / and other normal maintenance on vehicle). KM reports to be submitted monthly for taxable benefit calculations.•    Tech Equipped: Company-provided cell phone and laptop for seamless work experience.•    Premium Benefits Plan: Company benefits including Group Insurance that start after 3 months.•    Generous PTO: Enjoy 15 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) for vacation and sick leave.
